Rolande du Dreuilh is a traditional embroidery and lace house located in a small village in the Limousin, near Limoges. Specialising in home textiles, this 3rd generation company creates and produces table linen, including tablecloths, napkins, placemats and table runners. An original production with quality materials and skilled craftsmen working in their creative studio located in France and their workshop in Belgium.
The story begins with the Giron family in the early 20th century in the Auvergne region’s remote mountains. The long snowy winters gave the women plenty of time to make handmade lace and embroidery, which were then sold at local markets by Antonin Giron.
In 1935 his son, Fernand Giron expanded the activity and opened the first shop in Puy-de-Dôme. The business gradually evolved, and in 1986 the grandson Paul Giron and his wife Rolande du Dreuilh took over the family business. They decided to develop new activities, such as producing designer tapestries.
