Our skin care products are formulated by 3 PhD’s with over 25 to 35 years of experience each in the field of natural cosmetics. We care deeply about the quality and effectiveness of our products taking years to get it right. We aim for excellence using nature to power our products. After all, the decision makers in this company use it every day! 

Who makes our formulations?

When I started this company I wanted something I could use on my family and myself safely.  I hired the services of a French Biochemist in Paris, who specialized in plant based skincare.  He is passionate about natural ingredients and was enthusiastic about the project.  Then I met another pair of Biochemists in the USA . The more natural route also motivated them . I studied biochemistry which made me want to only use scientifically proven ingredients. Science can be combined with nature and today we can produce incredible cosmetics. It takes a lot of experience to make  plant based formulas that work.

Making a good cream is like what my French mother ( and the famous French chef Bocus) used to say about cooking; “a good chef searches for the best and freshest ingredients and there lies the secret to the greatest French chefs!!” We looked for the freshest most beneficial best quality raw materials and the rest was much easier! Combined we have a powerhouse of ingredients that really do make a difference!

When we use plant oils and extracts it is a process of combining synergistic ingredients for a more balanced effective science based result.

Rosehip oil (Wild crafted organic)

The UV rays of the sun can damage the skin, resulting in age spots and discoloration on the face. The antioxidants found in rosehip oil combat free radicals that cause sun damage. The vitamin A, combined with the oil’s essential fatty acids, can help improve skin tone, texture and pigmentation. This wildcrafted oil also contains powerful vit A for the skin.

French Lupin Seed Oil  

Exclusive oil known and used especially in Europe for it’s benefits in stimulating collagen production. Helps skin stay younger longer!

Squalane (plant based)

Our Squalane is derived from plants. It has anti-oxidant properties and is known to improve skin elasticity. A great moisturizer especially for eye area. More stable and better absorbed than squalene.

Hydrolized Hyaluronic acid and Sodium hyaluronate

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring polysaccharide found in the human body. It acts as a cushioning and lubrication agent for our joints, nerves, hair, skin, and eyes. It has incredible ability to retain moisture; according to one study, one gram of hyaluronic acid can hold up to six liters of water. Lack of moisture is one of the main culprits of aging skin, which is why this ingredient—which attracts moisture to your skin—is a must-have when it comes to repairing your skin’s moisture barrier. Hyaluronic acid has a sister part named sodium hyaluronate. Sodium hyaluronate is the salt form of HA and is a water-soluble salt that holds 1000 times its weight in water (Ingredients are in salt form because they are more stable and less likely to oxidize.) sodium hyaluronate has a much lower molecular size, which allows it to penetrate the skin better. Which is what we use in our eye cream.

Wildcrafted Jojoba oil, Prickley pear oil, Red raspberry oil, kalahari melon oil, Carrot seed oil and Marula oil. 

It takes years of experience to get the right combination of omega 3,6,7 and 9 from plant sources and get all the moisturizing and antioxidant effects in one product. The French master this art and science. These above seed oils when correctly sourced can produce amazing results. Wildcrafted oils for us have proven to be more intense in omegas and vitamins than the ones claiming to be organic. That is why we only use wildcrafted.

Seaweed Collagen (from Europe) and Peptides 

The vitamins, mineral, amino acids and enzymes present in quality seaweeds are potent anti-oxidants with skin healing and rejuvenating properties.

Seaweed does wonders to aging skin by working to promote tissue regeneration activities in the skin to create skin elasticity.

Seaweed is full of lipids, proteins, minerals and vitamins, which are easily absorbed into the skin. Research also shows that nutrients from seaweeds are able to penetrate deep into the skin more efficiently than other skin care ingredients. This helps your skin to maintain its firmness and hydration. Also creates overall improvement in skin tone. Our seaweed is sourced in Europe and is considered the highest grade for skin care.

Allantoin

Allantoin stimulates cell regeneration promoting healthy skin. It comes from an extract from the root of the comfrey plant and is a soothing, non-irritating ingredient that has the ability to help heal the skin and stimulate the growth of healthy tissue.

Vitamin C Tetra (vit c tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate) (from Europe)

Considered the best vitamin C especially for serums. It has been proven to penetrate deeper into the skin (plumps up your skin and keeps it looking younger). Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate is a stable, oil-soluble form of Vitamin C, used for anti-aging because of its ability to increase collagen levels, reduce melanin production, brighten skin, and repair the effects of UV exposure and other environmental damage. It is also less irritating than all the other forms of vitamin C.

Essential oils and French extracts

All our products are naturally scented with Famous French essential oils such as pure Lavender oil and Rose Geranium oil. These oils smell great but also have countless skin benefits. Only our eye cream is unscented. We prefer importing extracts such as white truffle and many others because the French have the best quality labs to produce them.
