Did you know that avoiding dry skin is the most important step in diminishing and avoiding wrinkles? What you put on your skin is key as we all know, but what should we look for?
Look for products that contain oils or vitamins that penetrate deeper than the surface level. Oils such as Rosehip seed oil, red raspberry or kalahari melon seed oil are thinner and absorb better and have more intense natural antioxidants than safflower and sunflower seed oils. Avoid creams that contain silicone (often written as dimethicone). These are fillers and don’t do anything to nourish the skin and only stay on the surface. You will feel and see the difference in less than a week if you use quality moisturizers. Long term you can take years off your skin.
Serums are also a great tool. Just make sure they contain the right form of vitamins. We use Tetra Vitamin C because it’s proven to penetrate deeper than any other form of Vitamin C. Vitamin C is great to diminish age spots but if you can find one that penetrates deeper it can also help with collagen production. As we age we lose collagen and get sagging skin.
Good ingredients cost money and price in this case does matter. Again make sure you’re paying for good key ingredients with high percentages in the formula.
The bottom line is you need to keep your skin moisturized at all times. You must get educated and be smart about the products you use and you will greatly benefit with amazing results for years to come.
